Ray Hodge, is Nationally Certified by ISSA (International Sports Sciences Association) over 13 years. His fitness pursuits began as a personal passion and hobby, as he also had a successful 10+ year career in Engineering and Management with several local companies. He eventually decided to follow his heart and began working exclusively in the health and fitness field. His clients range from housewives, to competitive cyclists, and tri-athletes. He has also been a competitive body builder for the last 7 years.

In his most recent contest, Ray won the lightweight class of the 2009 NPC Tri-State Figure, Bikini, and Bodybuilding Championships. Photo 1 Photo 2

Reggie Parks, is nationally certified by the ISSA (International Sport Sciences Association) for over 9 years. Reggie developed an interest in fitness while playing professional football and decided to expand upon his understanding of this science once he decided his playing days were over.  Since then, he has put his knowledge to the test while competing in Ohio’s Mixed Martial Arts scene to help himself throughout his own training in order to stay competitive as well as injury free in such a demanding sport.Reggie has worked with professional athletes as well as population groups ranging from six years of age up to adults in their golden years.  He believes that functional training is the key to injury prevention, sports performance, and overall fitness. Reggie has also managed several private clubs and has been known as an intense boot camp instructor.  “Creating your ideal body can sometimes be an ugly process but, the results are infinite.”

Nakisha Hines, is is a Massage Therapist, licensed by the Ohio State Medical Board since 2009. She employs many modalities including Swedish Massage, Pre and Post Event Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, and Myofascial Release.  She has worked with some of Cleveland's elite players from the professional sports arena, political pundits and top executives to stay at home moms looking to de-stress.  

Nakisha's continued educational pursuits include extensive training in Buffalo, NY as a Holistic Health Consultant.  She feels that massage, along with proper diet and exercise is an integral part of fitness to maintain optimal health, increase performance potential, reduce the chance of injury, and allow for balanced living.

Connie Murzyn, is a Reiki Master, working with a diverse client base for over 9 years. She left a 15 year technical career to pursue a holistic health vocation, where she could serve others in achieving health and vitality. Connie works with individuals in balancing their chakras and other energy points of the body. Each individual's experience is unique, as she aids your body in becoming re-balanced and harmonized.

 

Group Instructors

Anelize Nader, is registered with Yoga Alliance and has been a certified yoga teacher since 2009. She started practicing yoga five years ago as a way for personal growth, and right away she knew she would like to deepen the practice. The union of body, mind and spirit – the true meaning of yoga – brings harmony and balance, on and off the mat, and she believes the benefits of yoga should be brought to everyone. She has taught adults, teens and children’s classes, as well as prenatal. She teaches Hatha Yoga in a mix of styles, and all levels are welcome.

Kim Tessemer, Registered Dietitian, is an Ohio Licensed Dietitian and has been working in the industry since 1992. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Technology (Dietetics) from Bowling State University in Bowling Green, Ohio and operates her own  consulting business called Nutrition Focus,  specializing  in weight management  and menu development.  Kimberly works routinely with several large companies such as Lifestyles Technologies, Inc. (www.lifestylestech.com) as their acting Consulting Corporate Dietitian.

Kimberly is also the author of "The Everything® Nutrition Book", "The Everything® Pregnancy Nutrition" Book and "Tell Me What to Eat If I Have Celiac Disease. She is regular writer and reviewer for www.care2learn.com, a continuing education company for healthcare professionals.

Kim’s past experience includes acting as the Corporate Dietitian for three national weight loss franchises as well as the clinical dietitian for a medical weight management clinic.

Kimberly is a member of the American Dietetic Association and the ADA Practice Group, Nutrition Entrepreneurs.
