May 25, 2010: We are now on Facebook!

Myspace, Twitter, Digg, Blogger.com, and the like, are the 21st Century versions of news and networking that we are all touched by in some way each and every day. And for the moment, they are all here to stay.

In our continued efforts to stay in contact with our members, as well as to make Vedas a household name, we are proud to introduce our newly established facebook page. You can now become a fan of ours, by just entering "Vedas Fitness" in the search bar on your Facebook page and clicking "like" at the top of the page. Here is a direct link to the Vedas Fitness Facebook page.

We will use this page to communicate what's going on with us, open up topics of discussion, and keep you in the loop on upcoming features and events.

March 9, 2010: Running Group Update
For those interested, Kim Wilson is apart of a morning running group that meets 5 days a week at the Arcade entrance. Here's the running schedule for each day they meet:

  • Monday, Wednesday, & Friday at 5:30AM: 4-4.5 mile loop
  • Tuesday & Thrusday at 5:20AM: 6.5 mile loop (sometimes a hill run through the flats)

Several of the runners in this group are planning a half marathon in Cleveland on May 16th as well. For those interested in weekend runs or more information about this running group contact Kim via email at kwilson@maiwealth.com.

February 24, 2010: Updates
The Locker rooms will be undergoing some updates on February 25th and 26th, therefore they will not be available for use during this time.  You may use the fitness facility and exercise equipment, but due to construction in the locker rooms these facilities will be off limits after 1pm on the 25th and will not be available again for use again until Sat the 27th.  We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

We received a few more amenity samples, so please be sure to sample and cast your vote before the end of the week regarding which aromas you are interested in for use in the club's locker rooms.

New group classes have started this week. Class descriptions and scheduling can be found on line by clicking here.

The start date for Friday's group classes are postponed to begin 1 week later than originally scheduled due to locker room construction. The new start date for the 12PM and 5PM strength classes is March 5th. Please call or schedule on line to reserve your spot.
